Well,
here it is again! It has been over a year since our last African Art
Sale. Hamidou Cham, our favorite trader will be back in downtown Durham
with a new collection of beautiful and unique creations from all over
Africa. He will feature terra cottas, bronzes, woods, and leathers in
the forms of masks, sculptures, wall hangings, utensils, adornments,
furniture and more.
Hamidou will be here for a limited time on Friday November 21st, 3-8pm
and Saturday, November 22nd, 10am-7pm. The Friday date coincides with Third Friday Durham so
there will be much to do downtown. Spread the word and bring your
friends. You can find us at 108
Morris Street, a spot known as "The
Stables." right next to the Durham Arts Council building. There is
plenty of free parking in the area.
I will also be showing and selling some of my photographs from Ghana,
Kenya, Nigeria, Liberia, and Senegal as well as some other works. For a
preview check out my Photo Page. If
you see something you like, let me know. I can supply archival quality
prints of allthe photos in a variety of sizes.
